A scenic lookout at one of Melbourne's fringe suburbs was in need of urgent maintenance including the replacement of its decking. Due to the unusual angular shape of the lookout, precise measurements were require to estimate the decking required and preferably have it pre-cut before transporting to site. Manual measurement would have taken considerable time and so Flexijet 3D was given the opportunity to complete the job.
Using manual methods, it was estimated that a measuring job like this would take 2 people 1 day. Using Flexijet 3D, this job was completed in 4 hours by one person. A significant saving in time and effort.
