A specialised wrought iron fabricator was engaged to build the balustrade of a curved staircase and of the surrounding first floor balustrade around the stairwell. A measurement job like this would take a day but the confidence in obtaining accurate measurements would be extremely low. In fact, the wrought iron fabricator revealed that a project like this would most certainly need re-working on-site to ensure an acceptable standard. Flexijet Australia was given the opportunity to demonstrate the efficiencies of measuring such a project using Flexijet 3D. the results speak for themselves.
Using Flexijet 3D, this job was completed in 3.5 hours. This of course not only included the measurement data but also a complete 3D CAD model with a precision of less than 1mm.
